Profile Perfect Level 8 Hints And Walkthrough
Profile Perfect Level 8 starts with two locked answers: Dog B has White fur, and Dog D has Button-shaped ears. The puzzle uses four dogs in a left-to-right order — Dog A is the leftmost, then Dog B, Dog C, and Dog D on the right. The clues lean heavily on positions, colors, and accessories, and they chain together nicely once you pick the right starting point.
Step 1: Use the starting answers to place the White dog and find its Grey neighbor
The two initial answers give us a solid foothold. Dog B’s fur is White, and Dog D’s ear shape is Button. From there, clue 3 says the dog next to the White dog is a Grey dog without a Collar. Since Dog B is the White dog, the Grey dog has to be right next to it. Looking at the lineup, Dog B’s only neighbors are Dog A to its left and Dog C to its right. Dog D is too far away to be a neighbor. So either Dog A or Dog C could be Grey.
But clue 3 also says the Grey dog does not wear a Collar. That’s going to matter later. For now, we know Dog C is the better fit because clue 8 later mentions the Grey dog isn’t Luna, which helps lock the name chain. At this stage, I’m putting Dog C as Grey and Dog B as White. That gives us Dog B’s color confirmed, Dog C’s color confirmed, and the note that Dog C has no Collar.
Step 2: Lock the leftmost dog’s accessory and ears, then the name
Clue 2 tells us the leftmost dog is wearing a Collar. The leftmost dog is Dog A, so Dog A’s accessory is Collar. Now clue 5 connects the Collar with V-Shaped ears — the dog wearing the Collar has V-Shaped ears. That means Dog A’s ear shape is V-Shaped.
Then clue 7 says the dog with V-Shaped ears is named Hugo. So Dog A’s name is Hugo. That’s three cells for Dog A locked in one chain: Accessory Collar, Ear Shape V-Shaped, Name Hugo. We still need Dog A’s fur color, but that comes later.
Step 3: Use the name clues to sort out Dog B and Dog C
Clue 4 says the White dog loves its name, Bailey. Since Dog B is White, Dog B’s name is Bailey. Now we have two names placed: Hugo for Dog A, Bailey for Dog B.
Clue 8 says the Grey dog is not named Luna. Dog C is Grey, so Dog C cannot be Luna. The only remaining names are Rocky and Luna. Since Dog C isn’t Luna, Dog C must be Rocky. That leaves Luna for Dog D. So now all four names are placed: Dog A is Hugo, Dog B is Bailey, Dog C is Rocky, Dog D is Luna.
Step 4: Confirm Dog D’s fur color and accessory
Clue 1 says Dog D has Black fur. That’s straightforward — it confirms Dog D’s fur color is Black. Clue 9 adds that the Black dog wears a beautiful Crown. So Dog D’s accessory is Crown. Combined with the initial answer that Dog D has Button-shaped ears, Dog D is now mostly filled in: Name Luna, Fur Black, Ear Button, Accessory Crown.
Step 5: Solve the remaining ear shapes using the neighbor restriction
We have Dog A’s ears as V-Shaped, Dog D’s ears as Button. That leaves Prick and Rose for Dog B and Dog C. Clue 10 says the Rose-eared dog is not the Brown dog’s neighbor. I don’t know Dog A’s fur color yet, but I can figure it out. The only Brown dog in the puzzle is Dog A — the other colors are White, Grey, and Black. So the Brown dog is Dog A.
Dog A’s neighbors are Dog B (to its right) and no one to its left since it’s the leftmost. If Dog C had Rose ears, Dog C would be two spots away from Dog A, which means they are not neighbors. That satisfies clue 10 perfectly. If Dog B had Rose ears, Dog B would be right next to Dog A and would break the clue. So Dog B cannot have Rose ears, meaning Dog B’s ears are Prick, and Dog C’s ears are Rose. That works with the neighbor restriction because Dog C (Rose) and Dog A (Brown) are not adjacent.
Step 6: Place the remaining accessories and Dog A’s fur color
Accessories so far: Dog A has Collar, Dog D has Crown. That leaves Party Hat and Propeller Hat for Dog B and Dog C. Clue 6 says the Party Hat dog is not the Crown dog’s neighbor. The Crown dog is Dog D. Dog D’s only neighbor is Dog C (to its left). So if Dog C wore the Party Hat, Dog C would be right next to Dog D, which would violate the clue. Therefore Dog C cannot have the Party Hat. That means Dog B has the Party Hat, and Dog C takes the Propeller Hat.
Now for fur colors. We have Dog B’s fur as White, Dog C’s as Grey, Dog D’s as Black. The only color left is Brown, which goes to Dog A. That also confirms a detail from clue 10: the Brown dog is Dog A, and its neighbor Dog B has Prick ears, not Rose, so everything checks out.
Solution: Finish the remaining matches
At this point, every cell is filled. Let me recap the full picture:
- Dog A: Name Hugo, Fur Brown, Ear V-Shaped, Accessory Collar
- Dog B: Name Bailey, Fur White, Ear Prick, Accessory Party Hat
- Dog C: Name Rocky, Fur Grey, Ear Rose, Accessory Propeller Hat
- Dog D: Name Luna, Fur Black, Ear Button, Accessory Crown
The initial answers are all accounted for, and each clue has been satisfied. The solved grid matches exactly what I showed at the top of this article.
Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 8
Clue 3: “Next to White dog is a Grey dog without Collar”
This clue trips players up because it doesn’t specify which side the Grey dog is on — left or right. Some players assume it’s the dog immediately to the right, but the puzzle doesn’t guarantee that. The clue only says “next to,” which could be either neighbor. You have to use later clues to confirm that Dog C is the Grey dog, not Dog A. If you try to make Dog A the Grey dog, you’ll end up with a contradiction when the name and accessory clues come into play.
Clue 6: “Party Hat dog is not Crown dog’s neighbor”
This one is easy to misread. Some players think it means the Party Hat dog is nowhere near the Crown dog, but “not neighbor” just means they aren’t directly adjacent. In this lineup, Dog B (Party Hat) and Dog D (Crown) are separated by Dog C, so they are not neighbors. The clue is satisfied without any further restriction. It only eliminates the possibility that Dog C could have the Party Hat, because Dog C is Dog D’s immediate neighbor.
Clue 10: “Rose ear dog is not Brown dog’s neighbor”
This clue is where a lot of solvers get stuck. You need to realize that the Brown dog hasn’t been placed yet when you first read this clue. The natural instinct is to check if the Rose-eared dog is next to the Brown dog — but you don’t know who the Brown dog is. What this clue actually does is force the Rose-eared dog away from whatever dog ends up being Brown. Since Dog A is the only dog that can be Brown (after the other three colors are assigned), you then work backward: Dog C gets Rose ears because Dog C isn’t next to Dog A, while Dog B would be next to Dog A and therefore cannot have Rose ears.
Final Thoughts
Profile Perfect Level 8 is a clean, well-structured puzzle that keeps you moving from one clue to the next. The key is to treat the initial answers as anchors, then let the neighbor clues and name restrictions push the rest into place. Once you pin down the White dog and its Grey neighbor, the rest of the grid falls into a satisfying chain — Collar leads to V-Shaped ears, which leads to Hugo, and from there the remaining names, colors, ears, and accessories lock in without any guesswork. If you followed the steps here, you should have your four dogs fully dressed and ready to go.
