Profile Perfect Level 197 Hints And Walkthrough

Profile Perfect Level 197 sends you on a treasure map hunt with four maps, each needing a line type, treasure, nearby landscape, and trap. There aren't any initial answers or hidden values to juggle, which is a nice change — every clue you unlock gives you something solid to work with. The clues are packed with direct placements and relationships, so the whole solve feels like a chain of confirmations. Let's work through it.

Step 1: Lock in Map D’s treasure and landscape from the first clue

screenshot

Clue 1 tells us straight up that the Water treasure is near the eerie Cave. It links Map D’s treasure to Water and its nearby landscape to Cave. That’s two cells filled immediately. I note Map D: treasure is Water, landscape is Cave. This becomes my anchor point because it gives me a known map to reference as other clues talk about neighbors and positions.

Step 2: Use the rightmost dotted map clue to place Map C’s landscape

screenshot

Clue 3 says the dotted map on the right is near an abandoned Castle. We don’t know the order of maps yet, but “on the right” implies we’re looking at Map C or D. Since Clue 2 already tells us Map C has a dotted line, and Map A also has a dotted line, the clue makes sense if Map C is the rightmost dotted map. So Map C’s line type is Dotted, and its nearby landscape is Castle. I lock those in.

Step 3: The living trap clue gives us two dotted maps and Map B’s trap

screenshot

Clue 2 says a living trap is between maps with dotted lines. The only living trap in the options is Snake (a pitfall isn't living, a bear trap isn't living, bandits are people, whirlpool is water). So the Snake trap belongs to Map B. The clue also links Map A’s and Map C’s line types as Dotted, which matches what we already have from Clue 3. So I confirm Map A and Map C are both Dotted, and Map B’s trap is Snake. That leaves Map D as the only map without a dotted line, which fits nicely.

Step 4: The solid line clue places Map D’s line type and Map C’s trap

screenshot

Clue 9 says the Bear Trap is next to the solid line map. Solid line can only be Map D at this point (since A and C are dotted, and B hasn’t been assigned yet). So Map D’s line type is Solid. The clue also tells us Map C’s trap is Bear Trap, and it reconfirms Map A’s treasure as Scroll. I fill in Map D’s line type as Solid, Map C’s trap as Bear Trap, and Map A’s treasure as Scroll.

Step 5: Bandits get pinned to Map A from the either/or clue

Clue 5 says Bandits are to be expected on either map A or D. Now that I know Map D’s trap is not Bandits (we already set Map D’s trap as Whirlpool from a later clue, but even without that, Clue 2 already gave Map B the Snake, and Clue 9 gave Map C the Bear Trap, so the only remaining trap for Map A is Bandits). I lock Map A’s traps as Bandits.

Step 6: The Snake’s treasure clue fills Map B’s treasure

Clue 6 tells us the Snake’s treasure is often turned into an accessory — that points to a Gem. Since Map B has the Snake trap, Map B’s treasure must be Gem. I fill that in.

Step 7: Confirm Map B’s trap and Map D’s trap from the neighbor clue

Clue 7 says the Whirlpool neither accompanies the Snake nor neighbors it. We know Map B has the Snake, so the Whirlpool can’t be on Map B, and it can’t be on the map next to Map B (whichever that is). But more importantly, the clue directly links Map B’s trap as Snake (already known) and Map D’s trap as Whirlpool. So Map D’s trap is Whirlpool. That’s locked.

Step 8: The liquid treasure clue confirms Map A’s bandits and Map D’s water

Clue 8 says the liquid treasure (Water) is next to a map with a Dotted line. Map D has Water as its treasure, and the dotted maps are A and C. This clue links Map C’s line type as Dotted (already set), Map D’s treasure as Water (already set), and Map A’s traps as Bandits (already set). Everything matches — just a nice confirmation that our earlier placements are correct.

Step 9: Mountain and Bear Trap not neighbors — confirms Map A’s landscape and Map B’s treasure

Clue 10 says maps with Mountain and Bear Trap are not neighbors. Map A’s nearby landscape is Mountain (Clue 2 doesn’t directly say that, but Clue 4 and Clue 11 together will confirm it in a moment). Also, Map C has the Bear Trap. The clue links Map A’s landscape as Mountain, Map C’s trap as Bear Trap (already set), and Map B’s treasure as Gem (already set). So I fill Map A’s landscape as Mountain.

Step 10: The continuous line clue ties the last loose ends

Clue 11 says Map D’s path can be drawn in a single continuous line — that refers to its line type being Solid, which we already have. It also reconfirms Map A’s landscape as Mountain and Map C’s trap as Bear Trap. No new info, but it solidifies everything.

Solution: Fill in the remaining cells by elimination

Now I have every cell except Map B’s line type, Map B’s landscape, and Map C’s treasure. By elimination:

  • Line types: Map A and Map C are Dotted, Map D is Solid. The only line type left is Dashed, so Map B’s line type is Dashed.
  • Treasures: Map A has Scroll, Map B has Gem, Map D has Water. The only treasure left is Gold Coins, so Map C’s treasure is Gold Coins.
  • Landscapes: Map A has Mountain, Map C has Castle, Map D has Cave. The only landscape left is Oasis, so Map B’s landscape is Oasis.
  • Traps: Map A has Bandits, Map B has Snake, Map C has Bear Trap, Map D has Whirlpool. All filled.

The grid is complete.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 197

The “living trap” clue

Clue 2 says a living trap is between maps with dotted lines. “Living trap” isn’t defined in the puzzle, so you have to think about which trap could be considered alive. A snake is clearly living, while bandits are people (not really a “trap”), a bear trap is mechanical, a whirlpool is water, and a pitfall is just a hole. Once you realize Snake is the only living option, the clue opens up Map B’s trap and locks the two dotted maps.

The Whirlpool neighbor clue

Clue 7 says the Whirlpool neither accompanies the Snake nor neighbors it. This one can trip you up because it sounds like it’s describing a positional relationship, but it’s really just confirming that Map B has the Snake and Map D has the Whirlpool. The “neighbors” part eliminates any possibility that the Whirlpool is on a map next to Map B, but since we don’t know the map order yet, it’s more of a safety check than a placement tool. It becomes useful only after you’ve placed other traps.

The “continuous line” clue

Clue 11 says Map D’s path can be drawn in a single continuous line. That’s a roundabout way of saying Map D’s line type is Solid. New players might overthink this and try to visualize map paths, but it’s a straightforward synonym for a solid, unbroken line. The clue also reconfirms two other cells, which can make it feel redundant — but it’s a nice check to make sure you haven’t swapped anything.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 197 is a clean solve once you identify the living trap and start stacking direct placements. The puzzle moves quickly because almost every clue gives you at least one concrete cell, and the relationship clues mostly confirm what you’ve already filled in. By starting with Map D’s treasure and landscape, then working through the dotted maps, the whole grid falls into place without needing to backtrack or guess. Happy mapping!
