Profile Perfect Level 246 Hints And Walkthrough
This level asks you to match four spells (A, B, C, D) with five traits: an incantation, an elemental type, and three hand signs. A single starting answer locks one of Spell B’s signs, and from there a chain of positional clues and direct confirmations fills the whole grid. Let’s work through it step by step.
Step 1: Lock the initial answer and Spell D’s element
The puzzle kicks off with one locked value: Spell B’s third hand sign is SignD. That’s a solid anchor. Right after that, Clue 1 tells us that the “rightmost spell” – which is Spell D – causes the Gust element. So Spell D’s element is Gust. Now we have two cells confirmed.
Step 2: Place the incantations in order
Clue 5 says Leviosa sits between Lumoise and Patronum. That means the incantations appear in the order Lumoise (A), Leviosa (B), Patronum (C), with Spell D taking the remaining incantation, Homora (later confirmed by Clue 4). So we now know:
- Spell A’s incantation is Lumoise
- Spell B’s incantation is Leviosa
- Spell C’s incantation is Patronum
- Spell D’s incantation is Homora
This order also matches the positioning clues that refer to left and right.
Step 3: Fill Spell D’s hand signs from the “Gust” and “Homora” clues
Clue 3 links Gust with Spell D’s second hand sign, giving Spell D’s Hand Sign 2 = SignL. Clue 4 then states that Homora uses a specific third sign, so Spell D’s Hand Sign 3 = SignK. That already gives us three of Spell D’s signs (we still need Hand Sign 1).
Step 4: Use the “not used as first sign” clue for B and D
Clue 9 tells us that Homora and Leviosa do not use a certain sign as their first hand sign. The linked cells reveal that Spell B’s Hand Sign 1 = SignY and Spell D’s Hand Sign 1 = SignR. So now the first signs for B and D are locked.
Step 5: Unlock Spell A’s first two hand signs
Clue 10 says that one sign is “followed up with” the next sign. This attaches directly to Spell A: Spell A’s Hand Sign 1 = SignK and Spell A’s Hand Sign 2 = SignY. The same clue also reconfirms that Spell A’s incantation is Lumoise (already placed). Great – now A has two signs filled.
Step 6: Set the elements for A and C
Clue 11 states that the Hydro element spell is not next to Lumoise. Since Lumoise is Spell A, and A is at the left end, the only spell that can be Hydro is A itself (otherwise it would be next to Lumoise). This gives Spell A’s element = Hydro. Clue 7 earlier told us that the spell to the left of the third sign (which refers to a position) is not Hydro or Arcane, and that spells out Spell C’s element = Pyro. Clue 8 also reconfirms that Patronum (Spell C) is Pyro. So we have:
- Spell A: Hydro
- Spell B: Arcane (only remaining, as we’ll see)
- Spell C: Pyro
- Spell D: Gust
Step 7: Fill in the remaining hand signs using the “not used in same spell” clue
Clue 12 says two signs are not used together in the same spell. The linked cells tell us Spell C’s Hand Sign 2 = SignA and Spell A’s Hand Sign 3 = SignA. So now Spell A is fully known: SignK, SignY, SignA. And Spell C has its second sign set to SignA.
Step 8: Use the “first sign not beside first sign” clue
Clue 13 involves a positional relationship between first signs, but the direct placements are Spell D’s Hand Sign 1 = SignR (already placed), Spell A’s Hand Sign 1 = SignK (already placed), and Spell A’s Hand Sign 3 = SignA (already placed). So this clue simply reinforces what we already have.
Step 9: Fill the last few slots by elimination
At this point, we have all incantations, all elements, and most hand signs. The only hand signs still open are for Spell B (third is SignD, first is SignY, second is SignR, so third is already done – wait, we have B’s third from the initial answer, second from clue 2/4/5, first from clue 9 – yes, Spell B is complete: SignY, SignR, SignD). Spell C has first sign from clue 2 (SignO), second sign from clue 12 (SignA), so its third must be the only unused letter among the five possible signs (K, Y, A, R, D, O, L? Let’s check. The signs used so far: A appears on A and C; K appears on A and D; Y appears on A and B; R appears on B and D; D appears on B; O appears only on C; L appears only on D; U appears nowhere yet. The solved grid shows Spell C’s third sign is SignU. That’s the only remaining value not placed elsewhere. So Spell C’s Hand Sign 3 = SignU by elimination.
All cells are now filled, matching the solved grid exactly.
Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 246
Clue 2: “No signs are used next to sign”
This clue might seem vague at first. The phrasing suggests a positional restriction, but the actual linked cells just give three direct placements: Spell B’s Hand Sign 3 = SignD (which we already had), Spell B’s Hand Sign 2 = SignR, and Spell C’s Hand Sign 1 = SignO. In the game, the exact wording is tied to the image of the signs, so just trust the cells it unlocks. Once you see that it fills B’s second sign and C’s first, it becomes a clean drop.
Clue 7: “To the left of 3rd sign is not Hydro or Arcane spell”
This one can trip you up because it mixes positional language with element restrictions. The “3rd sign” refers to the third hand sign of some spell (likely Spell D, since that’s linked). The clue deduces that the spell to the left of that third sign (i.e., the previous spell in the order) cannot be Hydro or Arcane. Since Spell A and B are Hydro and Arcane respectively, the only spell left that can be to the left of D’s third sign is Spell C, so C must be Pyro. It also reconfirms Spell D’s third sign as SignK. The key is to realize you already know the spell order from the incantation clue, so the “left” refers to the order of subjects.
Clue 11: “Hydro element spell is not next to Lumiose”
This clue is easy to misread if you forget that “Lumiose” (Lumoise) is the incantation of Spell A, and the spells are laid out left to right. If Hydro were next to A, it would be either B or the non-existent left neighbor. Since A is Lumoise itself, the only way to avoid being next to itself is for A to be the Hydro spell. So Spell A gets Hydro. That’s a neat little twist.
Final Thoughts
Profile Perfect Level 246 is all about using the incantation order as your backbone. Once you place Lumoise, Leviosa, Patronum, and Homora in the correct sequence, the hand sign clues fall into place one after another. The initial answer gives you a taste of what the sign symbols mean, and the repeated references to “right of,” “left of,” and “next to” become straightforward once you remember that the spells are in a fixed line. Check your final grid against the one above, and you’ll see every cell accounted for. Happy spellcasting!
