Profile Perfect Level 589 Hints And Walkthrough

When I solved Profile Perfect Level 589, the main thing to watch was the slash values in the Subject column. A slash means both names share the same case file. That matters because Case File A ends up with Russell and Olivia together, and Case File C ends up with Natasha and Vincent together. Let’s work through the clues.

Step 1: Lock Case File B as Alicia’s beige folder

The puzzle starts with a direct clue that tells you Case File B uses a Beige folder. That gives you one full color slot right away.

Another clue says Alicia’s case only involves her and no one else. That tells you Alicia is the only person attached to Case File B. So Case File B now has Beige and Alicia locked in. That is a strong starting point because it removes both the color and the person for that row.

Step 2: Confirm the Approved case belongs to Case File C

The clue about the rightmost case being Approved is the next useful placement. The case files run A, B, C from left to right, so the rightmost case is Case File C. That means Case File C gets the Approved label.

The clue about Natasha’s file sitting idle for a full seven days connects to the same idea. It reinforces that Natasha belongs to the Approved case. So at this point, Case File C has Approved and Natasha. Keep in mind that Vincent will also appear in that same subject cell in the final grid, but the main clue chain starts with Natasha.

Step 3: Set Olivia’s case and Top Secret label in Case File A

The next clue says Olivia’s case has just been added to the Top Secret archive. That places Olivia in Case File A and gives Case File A the Top Secret label.

The same clue also lines up with the earlier placements. It confirms Alicia in Case File B and Natasha in Case File C. That gives you a clean match across all three files. Olivia in A, Alicia in B, Natasha in C. You now know which main name goes with each case.

Step 4: Use the Yellow case clue to finish the remaining label and color

The Yellow case clue says the yellow case is set to be announced to the public soon. In this level, that meaning matches the Approved label. This clue points to Case File C as Yellow and Approved.

That same clue also sets Case File B’s label to Declassified. With Case File B already Beige and Case File C now Yellow, Case File A has to be Brown by elimination. That gives you all three folder colors and all three labels.

Step 5: Put Russell in Case File A with the different cases clue

The clue about Russell’s and Natasha’s cases being different is the last big placement clue. Natasha is already sitting in Case File C. Since Russell’s case is different from Natasha’s, Russell cannot be on Case File C. With Case File B already holding Alicia, Russell goes to Case File A.

This clue also directly confirms Case File A’s folder color as Brown. That matches the elimination we just did. So Case File A now has Brown, Top Secret, Olivia, and Russell.

Solution: Finish the remaining matches

After those steps, almost everything is locked. Case File A has Brown, Russell / Olivia, and Top Secret. Case File B has Beige, Alicia, and Declassified. Case File C has Yellow, Approved, and Natasha.

The final grid also shows Vincent in Case File C’s subject cell next to Natasha. That fits once you remember the slash rule. The Subject column can hold multiple names in the same cell. With Case File A holding Russell and Olivia and Case File B holding Alicia, Vincent completes Case File C in the final grid.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 589

Slashes mean both names share a cell

The biggest confusion in this level comes from the slashes. In many logic puzzles, a slash makes you think you need to pick one option. In Profile Perfect Level 589, a slash means both values belong in the same cell.

The final grid shows Russell / Olivia in Case File A. It also shows Natasha / Vincent in Case File C. So when one clue places Olivia in Case File A and another clue places Russell in Case File A, you should put both names there. Do not choose between them.

The rightmost case clue

The phrase rightmost case is easy to overlook if you forget the order of the case files. The puzzle presents the files as A, B, C from left to right. That makes Case File C the rightmost case.

That clue connects with the seven day idle clue. Both point to Case File C as the Approved case with Natasha. Once you see that connection, the right side of the grid locks into place.

Russell’s and Natasha’s cases are different

This clue sounds like a simple comparison, but it does more than that. It places Russell and it confirms the Brown folder for Case File A.

Natasha is already in Case File C. Since Russell’s case is different, Russell has to be on another file. Case File B is already Alicia, so Russell lands in Case File A. The clue also directly gives Case File A’s folder color as Brown, which backs up the elimination from the Yellow case clue.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 589 comes down to reading the slash values correctly and letting the direct clues build on each other. Start with Case File B’s Beige folder and Alicia, use the Approved and Yellow clues to fix Case File C, then let the Top Secret clue settle Olivia in Case File A. The different cases clue brings Russell over to join her, and the final grid wraps everything else into place. Done and done.
