Profile Perfect Level 171 Hints And Walkthrough

Profile Perfect Level 171 is a surfer lineup puzzle with five traits to match across four subjects. One initial answer locks Surfer C’s surfboard as the Funboard, and from there the clues gradually reveal names, accessories, nationalities, and experience levels. Some cells end up with two valid values (Earrings/Cap for Surfer C, French/Australian for Surfer D) – the puzzle treats them as both being true for that surfer. Let’s work through it step by step.

Step 1: Use the initial answer to place the Funboard and the Novice surfer

The level starts with Surfer C’s surfboard already locked as Funboard. Clue 1 says the least experienced surfer is on the left of the Funboard. That means Surfer B (the one immediately left of Surfer C) must be Novice. So we mark Surfer B’s experience as Novice. This also tells us the surfers are in order A–B–C–D, with left meaning earlier in the list.

Step 2: Lock down Theo and Sandy

Clue 2 directly tells us Theo is Surfer D’s person. Then clues 3 and 5 both mention that the Pro surfer (we don’t know who yet) avoids the Novice crush. They confirm that the Novice surfer is Sandy and that Surfer C is Jack. Since we already know Surfer B is Novice, Surfer B’s person is Sandy. Surfer C’s person becomes Jack. Surfer D is Theo from the earlier clue. That leaves Beth as the only name left for Surfer A. So now we have all four names: A–Beth, B–Sandy, C–Jack, D–Theo.

Step 3: Nationalities start to appear

Clue 4 says the color of grass dominates Surfer A’s flag – green and yellow leads to Brazil, so Surfer A’s nationality is Brazilian. Clue 10 says the neighbor of the Pro surfer comes from the land of pizza (Italy). The Pro surfer is Surfer D (we’ll confirm that in a moment), so the neighbor to D’s left is Surfer C. That makes Surfer C Italian. Clue 13 tells us Theo’s flag will resemble Sandy’s if rotated – this pairs Russian (Sandy’s flag) with French (Theo’s flag). So Surfer B’s nationality is Russian, and Surfer D’s nationality is French. Then clue 15 adds that the Bandana user comes from Russia (which we already have) and also gives Surfer D’s nationality as Australian. That means Surfer D has both French and Australian as valid nationalities – the cell holds both.

Step 4: Headworn accessories and the accessory order

Clue 6 says headworn accessories are used by Surfer B and Surfer C. The headworn items here are Bandana and Cap. So Surfer B gets the Bandana, and Surfer C gets the Cap. But clue 9 later says Surfer C’s accessory is Earrings, so we know Surfer C’s accessory cell actually contains both Earrings and Cap – the slash in the grid confirms that. Clue 8 mentions that 3 accessories are between Sunglasses and Necklace. That tells us Surfer A has Sunglasses (at the far left) and Surfer D has Necklace (far right). The three items in between are Surfer B’s Bandana and Surfer C’s Earrings/Cap (counting as one cell but two items? Wait, the clue counts accessories, so each cell has one accessory value, even if it’s a slash pair. The “3 accessories between” refers to positions – from A to D there are three cells in between: B and C. So Sunglasses (A) and Necklace (D) have two cells between them, not three. Let me re-read: “3 accessories are between Sunglasses and Necklace” – this means if you list the accessories in order from left to right, there are three other accessories between them. So the order must be: Sunglasses (A), then some accessory, then another, then another, then Necklace (D). That’s exactly the four surfer positions: A, B, C, D. So the 3 accessories between are Bandana (B), Earrings/Cap (C), and – wait, that’s only one cell for C, but the clue counts accessories, not cells. Since C’s cell has two accessories, are both counted? The puzzle treats each accessory separately? Actually in the solved grid, each cell can have multiple slash-separated values. The clue “3 accessories are between” likely refers to the number of distinct accessory items that lie between the two endpoints in the linear order. Let’s check: A has Sunglasses, B has Bandana, C has Earrings and Cap (two items), D has Necklace. So between A and D we have Bandana, Earrings, Cap – that’s three accessories. Perfect. So clue 8 is satisfied. This also confirms that Surfer C’s accessory cell has two values, and that no other surfer has a double accessory.

Clue 14 adds that the Necklace is on the right of the Cap wearer. Since Cap belongs to Surfer C, and D has Necklace, that’s consistent with the order C then D.

Step 5: Determine the surfboards

Clue 11 says the Pro surfer uses the most symmetrical board – the Gun. We already suspect Surfer D is Pro (more on that next), so Surfer D’s surfboard is Gun. Clue 12 says the least pointy board (Bodyboard) is farthest from the Gun board. Since the Gun is at the far right (Surfer D), the farthest left is Surfer A. So Surfer A gets the Bodyboard. The only surfboard left is Fish, which goes to Surfer B. We already know Surfer C’s board is Funboard from the initial answer.

Step 6: Experience levels fall into place

We already have Surfer B as Novice. Clue 3 and clue 9 both mention the Pro surfer – clue 3 says Pro avoids Novice, and clue 9 says the Intermediate surfer is too shy to approach the Pro. Clue 9 also confirms Surfer A’s experience is Intermediate and Surfer D’s is Pro. So Surfer D is Pro. That leaves Advanced for Surfer C by elimination. All experience levels are now set.

Step 7: Final check and remaining names

We already placed all names: Beth (A), Sandy (B), Jack (C), Theo (D). The only remaining trait is Surfer B’s surfboard – Fish – which we placed. Everything matches the clues. The two slash cells (C’s accessory and D’s nationality) are fully explained by the combination of clues 6, 9, 13, and 15.

Solution: Finish the remaining matches

With all clues processed, the grid is complete. Surfer A is Beth with Sunglasses, Brazilian, Bodyboard, and Intermediate. Surfer B is Sandy with Bandana, Russian, Fish, and Novice. Surfer C is Jack with Earrings and Cap, Italian, Funboard, and Advanced. Surfer D is Theo with Necklace, French and Australian, Gun, and Pro.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 171

The “3 accessories between Sunglasses and Necklace” phrasing

This clue can be confusing because it counts accessories, not surfer positions. With Surfer C having two accessories (Earrings and Cap), you might think there are only two cells between A and D, but the clue asks for three accessories. Once you realize that the double accessory cell contributes two items, the math works out. Always count the individual values in slash cells when a clue refers to “accessories” or similar countable items.

The double nationality for Surfer D

Clue 13 gives Surfer D the French nationality, but clue 15 directly assigns Australian. Many players might think they need to pick one or the other based on some hidden logic, but the solved grid shows both are valid – the puzzle treats them as a slash pair. The key is that clue 15 explicitly says “Surfer D.Nationality = Australian” while clue 13 says “Surfer D.Nationality = French”. Since they’re both linked by the same surfer, the cell ends up containing both.

The headworn accessory clarification

Clue 6 says headworn accessories are used by Surfer B and C. That narrows Bandana to B and Cap to C. But later clue 9 gives C Earrings. At first it seems contradictory, but it’s actually telling you that C has both a headworn accessory (Cap) and a non-headworn one (Earrings). The grid uses a slash to reflect that. If you try to force only one accessory per surfer, you’ll get stuck.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 171 is a clean solve once you get comfortable with the double-valued cells. The initial Funboard anchor gives you Surfer B’s experience and name, and the rest flows from the nationality and accessory clues. Just remember that a slash in the grid means both values are correct – don’t eliminate one unless a clue specifically tells you to. Happy surfing!
