Profile Perfect Level 168 Hints And Walkthrough
When I first opened Profile Perfect Level 168, I saw five rooms and six traits to match. The puzzle gives us a few locked-in answers right away: Room D’s floor is Black, Room A’s wall is Gray, and Room C’s time is Night. Some values are hidden until clues confirm them, and a couple of cells have two valid values separated by a slash. The trick is connecting each clue to the right room without mixing up which decoration or centerpiece belongs where.
Step 1: Lock Room C’s centerpiece and time from the Night clue
Clue 1 tells us people partying at Night are circling the Christmas tree. This matches the initial answer that Room C’s time is Night, and it directly confirms Room C’s centerpiece is the Xmas Tree. That gives us two filled cells for Room C right off the bat.
Step 2: Use the popped balloon clue for Room D
Clue 2 says something just popped in Room D, which points to Balloons as the decoration. Room D’s decoration is now locked in. This also ties back to the initial answer that Room D’s floor color is Black—so we already have two values for Room D.
Step 3: Connect the flowers to the gray-walled room
Clue 3 tells us fragrant flowers are in the gray-walled room. The initial answer already sets Room A’s wall to Gray, so Room A’s decoration must include Flowers. Since this cell has a slash, it will hold both Flowers and another value later.
Step 4: Lock Room A’s floor and centerpiece
Clue 14 says the owner of the Dance Floor coated the floor with Gold. That means Room A’s floor is Gold and Room A’s centerpiece is Dance Floor. Combined with the gray wall and flowers decoration, Room A is shaping up nicely.
Step 5: Place the pink floor and the Twister room
Clue 13 tells us next to the Pink floor, people are playing Twister at 7AM. “7AM” refers to Morning, and Room A already has Morning from the hidden values. The pink floor belongs to Room B. This clue also confirms Room A’s centerpiece is Dance Floor (Twister is played on a dance floor), and we already locked that in step 4. So Room B’s floor is Pink.
Step 6: Fill in Room B’s time and number of people
Clue 11 says less than 8 people put up Streamers decoration until Dawn. Since Room B has Streamers (we’ll confirm that soon), the number of people must be 6, and the time is Dawn. That sets Room B’s time and number of people.
Step 7: Match the Garland rooms and their people counts
Clue 5 points out that one room with Garland has exactly one more person than the other Garland room. Room C’s decoration includes Garland (along with Ribbons), and Room E’s decoration is also Garland. Room C has 3 people, so Room E must have 4 people. This also confirms Room A still has Flowers (not Garland).
Step 8: Find the fountain room’s floor and wall
Clue 8 tells us the fountain room’s floor is Gray, and the wall is even darker. “Even darker” means Black. Room E’s centerpiece is Fountain, its floor is Gray, and its wall is Black. That fills three cells for Room E.
Step 9: Identify the room with matching floor and wall colors
Clue 9 says only one room has its floor and wall in the exact same color. Looking at what we know, Room C’s floor and wall both need to be Cream to match. So Room C gets floor Cream and wall Cream. This also indirectly helps because it means no other room can have identical floor and wall colors.
Step 10: Use the black-walled rooms clue
Clue 10 says the number of people between the black-walled rooms totals 11. Which rooms have black walls? Room B has black walls (hidden value), and Room E has black walls (from step 8). The people in between (Room C and Room D) are 3 and 8, which sum to 11. That checks out. This clue also confirms Room B’s decoration is Streamers, which we already used in step 6.
Step 11: Confirm Room D’s centerpiece and people count
Clue 12 tells us the birthday boy has more friends than the others. That’s the Cake centerpiece, which belongs to Room D. Room D’s number of people is 8, the highest among all rooms. So Room D’s centerpiece is Cake and its people count is 8.
Step 12: Place the Stage and Ribbons
Clue 15 says there’s a Stage in the room on the left of Ribbons. Room C’s decoration includes Ribbons, so the room to its left (Room B) must have Stage as its centerpiece. That gives Room B its centerpiece.
Step 13: Resolve the neighbor and fountain connections
Clue 7 mentions Balloon’s neighbor has something in common with Trevi of Rome (a fountain). Room D has Balloons, and its neighbor Room E has a Fountain. That matches. The clue also points to Room B having Streamers, which we already placed.
Step 14: Fill in the remaining time and decoration details
Clue 16 says a neighbor of the Cream room starts partying in the Evening. The Cream room is Room C. Its neighbor Room D gets Evening as its time. That leaves Room E with Noon by elimination. Room A’s decoration also includes Lanterns (from clue 4, which connects Lanterns and Ribbons), and Room C’s decoration includes both Ribbons and Garland.
Solution: Finish the remaining matches
By now, all cells are filled. Room B’s wall color is Black (hidden value confirmed). Room E’s wall is also Black, and Room C’s centerpiece is Xmas Tree (already set). Room A’s time is Morning (hidden value). The slash-separated cells work out naturally: Room A has both Flowers and Lanterns, Room C has both Ribbons and Garland, and Room D’s floor carries both Black and White.
Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 168
The “Balloon’s neighbor has something in common with Trevi of Rome” clue
This one threw me at first because “Trevi of Rome” is a fountain, but the clue doesn’t explicitly say “fountain.” You have to make that connection. Once you realize it’s talking about the Fountain centerpiece, it locks in Room E’s centerpiece and also confirms Room B’s decoration as Streamers. The neighbor relationship (Balloons in Room D, Fountain in Room E) is straightforward after that.
The “Only 1 room has its floor and wall in the exact same color” clue
This clue is easy to overlook because it’s a uniqueness rule. If you don’t catch it early, you might try to put a Cream wall and a Cream floor on a different room. But the clue forces Room C to have both Cream values, and it also rules out any other room matching its floor and wall colors. This is key for avoiding mistakes with Room A or Room D later.
The “Rooms with an odd number of people are 2 columns apart” clue
Clue 6 says odd-numbered rooms are two columns apart. The odd counts are 5 (Room A), 3 (Room C), and maybe others? But Room A and Room C are exactly two columns apart (A to C), which works. This clue mainly reinforces Room A’s decoration as Flowers (already set) and doesn’t add new info, but it’s easy to misinterpret as a positional clue about placement order.
Final Thoughts
Profile Perfect Level 168 keeps you on your toes with hidden values and those slash-separated cells that hold two answers. The key is letting the initial answers (Room D’s floor, Room A’s wall, and Room C’s time) anchor the first few steps, then letting the neighbor and color clues fill in the gaps. Once you lock the cream room and the fountain room, the rest falls into place without much backtracking. Just remember that a slash means both values are correct—no need to choose.
