Profile Perfect Level 640 Hints And Walkthrough

When I started Profile Perfect Level 640, Pottery C already had its Kylix type locked in. That gave me a clean anchor for the first position clue. There are no hidden values in this level, but several purpose cells hold two answers with a slash, so watch those carefully.

Step 1 Use the Starting Kylix to Move to the Right

Pottery C is the Kylix. The plant artwork sits to the right of the Kylix, and in this lineup the pot directly to C's right is Pottery D. That sets Pottery D's artwork as Laurel.

Step 2 Match the Soldier With the Royal Emblem

The soldier is Hoplite and the royal emblem is Laurel. Since D already has Laurel and sits after C, Pottery C must be the Hoplite. This locks Pottery C's artwork and reinforces the order from C to D.

Step 3 Put the Amphora Beside the Honey

The amphora with legendary monster art is beside the Honey. Pottery A is the Amphora, its artwork is Gorgon, and its maker is Sophilos. Pottery B is the honey pot. That means A's row starts filling in quickly, and B's purpose is Honey.

Step 4 Place Perfume and Water Three Positions Apart

The fragrant liquid is Perfume, and the drinking liquid is Water. The clue places these three positions apart. Pottery A has Perfume and Pottery D has Water. This also confirms A as Amphora, matching the previous step.

Step 5 Lock Exekias to Pottery B

The clue about the bald bearded young man gives Pottery B's maker as Exekias. Exekias made the pot that stores products from the apiary, so Pottery B's purpose is Honey. Exekias also did not shape Lekythos or Oinochoe, so B's type has restrictions that matter in the next step.

Step 6 Let Douris and the Centaur Make B the Krater

The Centaur appears on the Lekythos, and Douris made that pot. Pottery E is the Lekythos, E's artwork is Centaur, and E's maker is Douris. With E taking Lekythos and Exekias unable to make Oinochoe, B cannot be either of those types. A is already Amphora and C is Kylix, so B must be Krater.

Step 7 Give Oil to the Middle Pots

Most of the pots store Oil. That clue applies to Pottery C, Pottery D, and Pottery E, so all three get Oil in their purpose cell. Pottery A keeps Perfume and Pottery B keeps Honey. The same clue also keeps Exekias with Pottery B, which matches the honey pot from earlier.

Step 8 Add Water and Grain to the Oil Cells

Makron needs the pot to also hold drinks. This locks Pottery D's maker as Makron, Pottery D's purpose as Water, and Pottery C's purpose as Grain. Since D already has Oil, D's purpose cell becomes Water / Oil. Since C already has Oil, C's purpose cell becomes Oil / Grain. Treat these as multiple values in one cell, not choices.

Step 9 Finish E's Purpose and Reconfirm Sophilos

The jewelry pot was made by neither Lydos nor Makron. Pottery E has Jewelry, Pottery E's maker is Douris, and Pottery A's maker is Sophilos. Since E already has Oil, E's final purpose is Oil / Jewelry. The clue about already owning enough oil pots also points back to Sophilos for A and keeps Oil on E.

Solution Finish the Remaining Matches

After those steps, only a few values remain. Pottery B has no artwork yet. A, C, D, and E already use Gorgon, Hoplite, Laurel, and Centaur, so B must have Owl. The makers are almost done, with Sophilos, Exekias, Makron, and Douris placed. Pottery C is the only row without a maker, so it belongs to Lydos. For types, A is Amphora, B is Krater, C is Kylix, and E is Lekythos, which leaves Oinochoe for Pottery D. Everything lands in the solved grid from the top.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 640

The Oil And Grain Combination

Clue 12 says Makron needs the pot to also hold drinks. It might sound like D's purpose is only Water, but the earlier oil clue already placed Oil on D. The final grid keeps both. The slash is not a choice, it is a combination. Same for C, where Grain joins Oil.

The Exekias Type Elimination

The clue says Exekias did not shape Lekythos or Oinochoe. That alone does not name B's type. You have to combine it with the Centaur clue. Once E is the Lekythos, and A is Amphora and C is Kylix, the only remaining type for B is Krater. Players who skip this chain may think B's type is still open.

The Laurel Doubles as Plant and Royal Emblem

The first clue calls Laurel a plant, and the later clue calls it a royal emblem. These are the same value. Once D is to the right of C, the second Laurel clue just confirms C's artwork as Hoplite and keeps D on Laurel. Do not treat them as two separate plant values.

The Jewelry and Oil Pair on Pottery E

The jewelry clue gives E Jewelry, but E already picked up Oil from the most pots clue. It might look like an error. The final grid handles it by listing both Oil / Jewelry in the same purpose cell. This is another case where the slash means multiple accepted answers.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 640 is mostly about following the same clues across multiple cells. The Kylix anchor gives you the order, the oil clue builds the middle section, and the maker clues fill in the rest. Watch the slash values in the purpose column and use elimination for the last row. That gets you through the level without second guessing.
