Because the puzzle uses a fixed left-to-right sequence for customers, the farthest person from Eddie is the one at the opposite end. Once you know Logan is Customer A, Eddie has to be Customer E. Many players overlook the implied positional order, so keep the A–E lineup in mind from the start.

“3 colors are between Black and Red cape” (Clue 9)

The phrase sounds like a positional distance riddle (“three other customers between them”), but the linked cells simply assign the colors Red to B and Black to E. The real work is done by the clue’s explicit value links, not the wording. Don’t waste time trying to count colors on a spectrum – just read what the clue actually locks.

“2 services are between Mustache Trim and Blow Dry” (Clue 16)

Again, the wording suggests counting physical positions, but Mustache Trim is at B and Blow Dry at D, with only Customer C in between. The “two services” refers to the two separate services (Hair Wash and Curling) provided by that one customer. It’s a clever way to confirm that C’s cell holds both services.

The female barber working with another staff (Clue 14)
