Profile Perfect Level 108 Hints And Walkthrough

This puzzle gives you five rooms (A through E) and four traits (Room Type, Person, Item, and Wall). Right away you have one locked answer – Room B’s wall is Solid – plus a couple of hidden values that the clues gradually reveal. Several cells also hold two values separated by a slash, meaning that room contains both options for that trait. The path through the clues is pretty linear once you spot the first few direct placements, so let’s work through it step by step.

Step 1: Start with the locked wall and the first direct assignments

The initial answer tells us Room B’s wall is Solid, so I write that in immediately. Then clue 1 says Room A is the Garage and that either Mom or Dad is there – but it actually goes further and pins down Mom as the person in Room A. So I set Room A’s type to Garage and its person to Mom. Meanwhile clue 2 says the Son is in the middle room. With five rooms, the middle is Room C, so I put Son for Room C’s person.

Step 2: Place the Basement and the Brick wall

Clue 3 says the Brick wall Basement is two columns away from the Son. Since the Son is in Room C, two columns to the right lands on Room E (C→D→E). That means Room E is the Basement and its wall is Brick. This clue also reconfirms the Son’s location, but that’s already set. Clue 7 adds that Dad is on the right of the room where someone is sleeping – that “sleeping” room turns out to be the Bedroom (Room D), so Dad must be in Room E. And clue 9 has Mom calling out to Dad in the Basement, which doubles down on Room E being Basement and Dad being there. So by now I have Room E: type Basement, wall Brick, person Dad.

Step 3: Identify the Kitchen and the other person in the middle room

Clue 4 is all about the Daughter not accompanying the Son in cooking. The linked values show that Room C (where the Son is) is the Kitchen, and the person who does accompany the Son is Grandma. So Room C’s type becomes Kitchen, and its person gets both Son and Grandma (a slash pair). The Daughter must be somewhere else – we’ll place her later.

Step 4: Connect Grandpa, Tumbler, Gloves, and Broom

Clue 6 says Grandpa is crafting a drink in his Tumbler, so Grandpa goes into Room B (the room we already know has a Solid wall) and the item Tumbler goes there too. Clue 5 then tells us there are 2 items and 1 room between Gloves and Broom. Counting along the rooms, that spacing fits perfectly: Gloves in Room C, Broom in Room E, with Room D in between (and two items: Gloves in C and Broom in E, with D’s item being something else). So Room C gets the Gloves item, and Room E gets the Broom item. The Broom was actually hidden earlier, but this clue locks it in.

Step 5: Solve the wall colors using the adjacency rule

Clue 8 gives a specific arrangement: Tiled wall is next to Floral wall, but not next to Wooden wall. The linked cells directly assign Wood to Room A, Tiled to Room C, Floral to Room D, and Brick to Room E (which we already had). That leaves Room B with the Solid wall from our initial answer, so all five walls are now set. Notice that Wood (Room A) is not next to Tiled (Room C) – there’s Room B in between – so the “not next to” condition is satisfied.

Step 6: Fill in the remaining items and persons

Several clues now fall into place to complete the item and person columns. Clue 10 confirms that Book is in the same room with another item, and it tags Room D as the Bedroom, so Book goes into Room D. Clue 11 says the room with the Wooden wall (Room A) has a Vase, so Room A gets Vase alongside the Hammer we’re about to see. Clue 14 tells us Baby is to the right of the room where Hammer is. The Hammer is in Room A, so the room to its right is Room B – that puts Baby in Room B (already has Grandpa from clue 6, so that becomes a slash pair). And clue 15 places Gloves between Tumbler and Book, which matches the order Room B (Tumbler), Room C (Gloves), Room D (Book) – a nice confirmation.

Now all that’s left is to fill the gaps by elimination. Room B’s type hasn’t been mentioned yet – the remaining type is Living Room, so that’s its type. Room D’s person is the only one left unused: Mom (A), Grandpa/Baby (B), Son/Grandma (C), Dad (E), so Daughter goes to Room D. And Room D’s item already has Book, but the solved grid shows a slash with Phone – that’s the “another item” clue 10 referred to, so Phone completes Room D. Every cell is now accounted for.

Solution: Finish the remaining matches

After the main clue chain, the final placements are simply a matter of elimination. Room B gets Living Room as its type because Garage, Kitchen, Bedroom, and Basement are taken. Daughter is the only person left, so she goes to Room D. And Room D’s second item is Phone, matching the slash value. The grid above is the complete and correct solution.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 108

Clue 3: “Brick wall Basement is 2 columns away from the Son”

This one tripped me up at first because “2 columns away” could mean two spaces to the left or right. But since the Son is in the middle room (C), and the clue pairs “Brick wall” with “Basement” as one unit, the only room that fits two steps to the right is Room E. The left side would go to Room A, but Room A already gets assigned as Garage in clue 1, so that direction is impossible anyway. Once you realize both the wall and type tag along together, the placement becomes clear.

Clue 4: “The Daughter does not accompany the Son in cooking”

The phrasing might make you think the Daughter is simply not in the Kitchen. But the clue actually does more – it forces the Son to be in the Kitchen (since he is cooking) and then implies that the other person in that room is not the Daughter, but someone else. The linked cells reveal Grandma as that other person, which is why Room C ends up with both Son and Grandma. The Daughter ends up in the Bedroom later by elimination.

Clue 14: “Baby is to the right of the room where Hammer is”

This is a positional clue, but it doesn’t specify how far to the right. “To the right” usually means immediately to the right, but in this puzzle it just means any room that is east of the Hammer’s room. Since the Hammer ends up in Room A, the only room to its right is Room B. If Hammer had been placed elsewhere, this clue would have needed more careful counting, but here it’s a simple right-neighbor.

Clue 8: The wall adjacency condition

The wording “Tiled wall is next to Floral wall, but not next to Wooden wall” sounds like a puzzle in itself. However, the clue directly gives you the values for each room, so you don’t need to deduce which wall goes where – it’s already assigned. The condition simply confirms that the arrangement works: Tiled (Room C) is next to Floral (Room D), and Wood (Room A) is separated from Tiled by Room B, so the “not next to” rule holds.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 108 is a satisfying linear solve once you grab the initial locked cell and let the first few clues point you to the Basement and Kitchen. The slashed values (like Vase/Hammer in Room A or Grandpa/Baby in Room B) are handled naturally by the clues, and the positional spacing clues lock in without ambiguity. The wall adjacency rule is the only one that tries to be tricky, but the direct assignments keep it from being a headache. If you take it step by step, the whole grid fills out without needing to backtrack. Happy puzzling!
