Profile Perfect Level 596 Hints And Walkthrough

Profile Perfect Level 596 starts with three useful locked answers. Room C has Lantern, Room B has Folding Fan, and Room C also has Scroll. There are no hidden values to chase. The real challenge is handling double values in a few cells, especially in the item and light source columns. Let’s work through it in order.

Step 1: Lock in Kunga and the two foldable bed rooms

Start on the left. The leftmost monk is Kunga, so Room A’s monk is Kunga. Right after that, the clue about the two foldable beds tells us they sit two positions away from Scroll. Since Scroll starts in Room C, the foldable bed rooms are Room A and Room E. Room A gets Straw Mat and Room E gets Foldable Cot.

Step 2: Place the Altars, Wooden Cot, Mattress, and Scroll Shelf

Now look at the furniture column. Altars appear with Wooden Cot and Mattress, and in this solve those two rooms are Room B and Room C. Room A is already Straw Mat, so the Mattress cannot go there. That leaves Room C as Mattress and Room B as Wooden Cot. The Wall Torch is used next to the Mattress, so Room B gets Wall Torch. Because Room B is already the Altar room, it can’t also be the Scroll Shelf room. The Scroll Shelf has to be next to Lantern, and Lantern sits in Room C, so Room D gets Scroll Shelf.

Step 3: Place Liang, Norbu, and the Flute

Liang sleeps on traditional Japanese flooring, so Room D has both Liang and Tatami. That also starts the light source chain. The Oil Lamp is three positions away from Liang’s room, and Room A is exactly three positions to the left of Room D. Room A gets Oil Lamp.

The musical instrument clue says the Flute is in Room B or Room D. The Norbu clue says Norbu does not hear the instrument being played. If Norbu shared a room with the Flute, he would hear it. So Norbu goes to Room B and the Flute goes to Room D. Room D already has Liang, so that cell is complete.

Step 4: Let the Flute lead you to Paper Lantern and Candle

Flute is in Room D. The clue says Flute’s neighbor has a festival light source hanging on the wall. The festival light source is Paper Lantern, and the neighbor is Room E. That gives Room E Paper Lantern.

Now the only remaining light sources for Room D and Room E are Window and Candle. The clue about the room without fire says the only room without fire sits next to Candle. Oil Lamp, Wall Torch, Lantern, and Candle are all fire, so the only light source that is not fire is Window. Room D has to be that no fire room because the neighboring Candle is in Room E. Room D gets Window and Room E gets Candle. Since Room E also has Paper Lantern, its light source cell becomes Candle / Paper Lantern.

Step 5: Put Sonam, Desk, and Water Jug in place

Sonam practices meditation in front of the Desk, so Room E gets Sonam and Desk. Then the clue about the same item under Candle and Lantern gives us the Water Jug. Candle is in Room E and Lantern is in Room C, so the Water Jug appears in both rooms. Room E’s item is Water Jug. Room C already has Scroll from the start, so Room C’s item becomes Scroll / Water Jug.

Step 6: Confirm Room A’s Scripture Book and Chest

Kunga can do recitation with the item he brought. Kunga is in Room A, so Room A gets Scripture Book. The Scripture Book clue also says it is read on the Mat because Desk is unavailable. Room E has the Desk, so Room A cannot use it. That means Room A’s furniture is Chest. Its bed is already Straw Mat from the foldable bed clue.

Step 7: Use the Prayer Wheel to finish Rooms B and C

You now have monks for Room A, Room B, Room D, and Room E. The remaining monk is Chen, so Room C gets Chen.

For items, Room A has Scripture Book, Room D has Flute, and Room E has Water Jug. Room C has Scroll plus Water Jug. The puzzle also mentions the Prayer Wheel, which is not in Room A or Room C. That leaves Room B as the only possible home. Room B already carries Folding Fan from the start, so Room B’s item cell gets both Prayer Wheel and Folding Fan.

Solution: Finish the remaining matches

After the earlier steps, only a few blank cells are left. Room C’s monk is the only monk not yet placed. With Kunga in Room A, Norbu in Room B, Liang in Room D, and Sonam in Room E, Chen has to take Room C. In the item column, Room B is the only room left that can hold the Prayer Wheel. Since Room B already had Folding Fan, that cell carries both values. Everything else in the grid now matches the solved answer above.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 596

The foldable bed distance clue

At first, “the two foldable beds are 2 columns away from Scroll” is easy to misread. The clue does not mean the beds are next to Scroll. It means the two foldable bed rooms are two positions away from Room C, where Scroll sits. Room A and Room E are exactly two positions from Room C, so they get Straw Mat and Foldable Cot.

The prayer wheel clue

Calling the item a mani lag khor can throw you off because that term might not be familiar. The clue simply refers to the Prayer Wheel. It says the Prayer Wheel is not in Room A or Room C. Room A already has Scripture Book, and Room C already has Scroll and Water Jug, so the Prayer Wheel belongs in Room B. Room B’s starting Folding Fan stays in the same cell, which is why you get Prayer Wheel / Folding Fan.

The candle and lantern item clue

This clue creates one of the double item values. “The same item can be found under the Candle and Lantern” sounds like one item, but it means one Water Jug under each light source. Candle is in Room E and Lantern is in Room C. So Room E gets Water Jug, and Room C gets Water Jug on top of its starting Scroll. That is why Room C’s item cell shows Scroll / Water Jug.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 596 rewards you for chasing the light source clues early. Once Liang, the Flute, and the Oil Lamp were placed, the Candle and Paper Lantern split became easy to follow. From there, the double item values in Rooms B and C were the last thing to sort. Keep the finished grid in front of you and the solve path makes sense.
