Profile Perfect Level 12 Hints And Walkthrough

When I started Profile Perfect Level 12, the puzzle already had Tree D's type locked in as Oak, and two wildlife friends were marked: Bat for Tree B and Owl for Tree D. That gave me a few solid anchors to work from. The remaining pieces were about sorting out which tree was which and matching each one with the right attachment and wildlife friend. Here's how I worked through it.

Step 1: Start with the locked answers and direct clues

The puzzle hands you three initial answers right away. Tree D's type is Oak, which is already filled in. Clue 1 confirms that Owl lives on the Oak tree, so Tree D's wildlife friend is Owl. Clue 2 tells us Bat hangs around Tree B, so Tree B's wildlife friend is Bat. Clue 3 says the Sakura tree is on the leftmost, which means Tree A's type is Sakura. That's already three types and two wildlife friends placed.

I wrote these down immediately. Tree A is Sakura, Tree D is Oak, and Tree B has Bat as its wildlife friend. I knew Tree C's type was still unknown at this point, but the leftmost placement for Sakura already told me something about the order.

Step 2: Link the Butterfly clue to the Sakura tree

screenshot

Clue 4 says butterflies are often seen around the Sakura tree. Since Tree A is Sakura, this directly tells me Tree A's wildlife friend is Butterfly. Now I have Tree A's wildlife friend locked in alongside its type.

This also means Tree A's attachment can't be anything except what's left after the other clues fill in, but I didn't have that piece yet. At this stage, I knew Tree A was Sakura with Butterfly, and Tree B had Bat. I still needed to find Tree C's type and wildlife friend, plus all the attachments.

Step 3: Use the between clue to place the tree order

screenshot

Clue 5 is a positional clue: Maple is between Baobab and Oak tree. This tells us the order of the trees from left to right. The puzzle shows four trees: Tree A, Tree B, Tree C, and Tree D in order from left to right. We already know Tree A is Sakura and Tree D is Oak. So Maple must be Tree C, because it's between Baobab and Oak. But wait, that means Baobab must be Tree B. Let me check: if Tree C is Maple, and it's between Baobab and Oak, then Baobab must be to the left of Maple and Oak to the right. Tree D is Oak, so Baobab must be Tree B. That works.

So Clue 5 confirms Tree B's type is Baobab, Tree C's type is Maple, and it also circles back to confirm Tree A is Sakura and Tree D is Oak. Now all four types are placed: Tree A is Sakura, Tree B is Baobab, Tree C is Maple, Tree D is Oak.

Step 4: Attach Ropes to the tree with Bat

screenshot

Clue 6 tells us Ropes are attached to the tree where Bat stays. We already know from Clue 2 that Bat stays at Tree B. So Tree B's attachment is Ropes. That's one attachment locked in.

Now I have Tree B fully solved: Baobab type, Ropes attachment, Bat wildlife friend.

Step 5: Give Maple its Lanterns

Clue 7 says the Maple tree is decorated with Lanterns for the event. Tree C is Maple, so Tree C's attachment is Lanterns. That's another attachment confirmed.

Now Tree C has Maple type, Lanterns attachment, and the wildlife friend is still unknown. But we're getting closer.

Step 6: Place the Tree House with the negative clue

Clue 8 says the Tree House is not next to the Baobab tree. The Baobab tree is Tree B. So Tree House cannot be attached to Tree A or Tree C, because those are the trees next to Tree B. Tree A is to the left of Tree B, and Tree C is to the right. That leaves Tree D as the only option. So Tree D's attachment is Tree House.

This makes sense because Tree D is Oak, and the clue already told us Owl lives on the Oak tree. Tree House fits nicely with that.

Now Tree D is fully solved: Oak type, Tree House attachment, Owl wildlife friend.

Step 7: Finish the remaining matches

We have one attachment left: Swing. The only tree without an attachment yet is Tree A. So Tree A's attachment is Swing.

We also have one wildlife friend left: Squirrel. The only tree without a wildlife friend is Tree C. So Tree C's wildlife friend is Squirrel.

And that's the whole grid. Tree A is Sakura with Swing and Butterfly, Tree B is Baobab with Ropes and Bat, Tree C is Maple with Lanterns and Squirrel, Tree D is Oak with Tree House and Owl.

Solution: Complete the final placements

After working through all eight clues, every cell in the grid is filled. The initial answers gave us a head start, the positional clue locked in the tree types, and the attachment clues fell into place once we knew which tree was which. The negative clue about Tree House not being next to Baobab was the key to placing that attachment correctly. From there, the remaining values were just leftovers.

Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 12

Clue 5: "Maple is between Baobab and Oak tree"

This clue can be confusing because it doesn't tell you which tree is which right away. You have to combine it with the leftmost placement from Clue 3. The leftmost tree is Sakura, which means Sakura is Tree A. Oak is already locked as Tree D. So when the clue says Maple is between Baobab and Oak, you know Oak is on the right end. That forces Baobab to be Tree B and Maple to be Tree C. Without the leftmost clue, you might try different arrangements, but the initial answer for Sakura narrows it down.

Clue 8: "Tree House is not next to the Baobab tree"

This negative clue is easy to misread. "Not next to" doesn't mean Tree House can't be on Tree B. It means Tree House can't be on any tree that is adjacent to Tree B. Since Tree B is Baobab, the trees next to it are Tree A (left) and Tree C (right). So Tree House can't go on Tree A or Tree C. That leaves only Tree D. Some players might think Tree House can go on Tree B itself, but the wording says "not next to," not "not on." So Tree B is also possible in theory, but we already know Tree B's attachment is Ropes from Clue 6, so that eliminates it anyway. The negative clue just seals Tree D as the only valid spot.

Clue 6: "Ropes are attached to the tree where Bat stays"

This clue works perfectly with Clue 2, but it's worth noting that you have to already know which tree has Bat. If you haven't placed Bat yet, this clue won't help. The puzzle gives Bat as an initial answer for Tree B, so it's fine. But if you tried to solve without reading the initial answers first, you'd be stuck. Always check the locked answers at the start.

Final Thoughts

Profile Perfect Level 12 is a straightforward puzzle once you start with the initial answers and follow the chain of connections. The key was using the leftmost clue to pin down Tree A as Sakura, then letting the between clue sort out the rest of the types. Each attachment and wildlife friend either came directly from a clue or fell into place as the only remaining option. No tricky hidden values or slash-separated cells in this one, just clean logic from start to finish.
