Profile Perfect Level 117 Hints And Walkthrough
Profile Perfect Level 117 starts with three locked answers: we already know Tool E is a Pitchfork, Tool B is used for Tilling, and Tool A is Red. That gives us a solid foundation, but there are also three hidden values that aren’t obvious at first glance. The accessory column gets a little crowded since some tools have two accessories in the same cell, and two of the owners are shared across tools. Let’s work through the clues in order.
Step 1: Lock the red tool’s years and Tool D’s color
Clue 1 tells us the red tool has been used the longest. We already know Tool A is Red from the initial answers, so that means Tool A has been around for 9 years — the highest number in the puzzles’ years column. Clue 4 gives us a direct drop: Tool D has a beautiful Silver color. Now we have two colors placed.
Step 2: Confirm Tool E’s owner and usage
Clue 3 says Scott loves working with his Pitchfork. Since the initial answer already tells us Tool E is a Pitchfork, that means Scott owns Tool E. The hidden value for Tool E’s usage is Hays, so we can write that in as well. Tool E is now a Pitchfork, used for Hays, owned by Scott, and still missing its color and accessory.
Step 3: Place the Shovel’s usage and first owner
Clue 7 says the Shovel is mainly used for Digging soil. That locks Tool C’s usage to Digging. Clue 9 then says the Digging tool was bought using half of Lydia’s money. That tells us Lydia owns the Shovel, which is Tool C. However, the solved grid shows Tool C’s owner as “Tom / Lydia,” meaning both names are valid in that cell. At this point we can place Lydia as one of the two owners for Tool C. The other owner (Tom) will fall into place later.
Step 4: Use the neighbor clues to arrange the tools
Clue 5 says the Hoe is next to a Rake and a Shovel. The Hoe is Tool B, the Rake is Tool A, and the Shovel is Tool C. That means the three tools sit next to each other in some order. We don’t know the full lineup yet, but we do know Tool B (Hoe) must have Tool A and Tool C as its immediate neighbors on either side. Clue 6 adds that neither the Rake nor the Hoe is owned by two farmers, meaning both Tool A and Tool B have a single owner each. That will come in handy later.
Step 5: Pin down the Hoe’s accessory and the blue-green rule
Clue 11 tells us the Hoe’s accessory is used to make a clove hitch. The hidden value for Tool B’s accessory is Rope, and that matches perfectly — a rope is used for a clove hitch. So Tool B’s accessory is Rope. The same clue also confirms that Tool B’s color is Black, which fits with another clue we’ll get to soon.
Clue 10 says the blue tool is not beside the green one. We already know Tool D is Silver, and Tool C will turn out to be Blue, while Tool E becomes Green. Since they can’t be neighbors, and we know the Hoe sits between the Rake and Shovel, that placement will limit where the green tool can go.
Step 6: Place the blue tool next to the rope
Clue 12 says the blue tool is beside the Rope. The Rope is Tool B’s accessory, so the blue tool must be next to Tool B. Since Tool B is the Hoe, its neighbors are Tool A (Rake) and Tool C (Shovel). Tool C turns out to be Blue, so that makes perfect sense — Tool C (Shovel) is right next to Tool B (Hoe), which has the Rope. This also confirms Tool C’s color is Blue.
Step 7: Match the nameplate and black tool
Clue 13 says the only tool with a Nameplate is next to the Black one. The black tool is Tool B (Hoe). The tool with the Nameplate is Tool A, but Tool A also has a Keychain — that’s another slash-separated cell. So Tool A’s accessory is Keychain / Nameplate. Since Tool A is next to Tool B (the black Hoe), that satisfies the clue. This also confirms Tool B’s color as Black, which we already placed in Step 5.
Step 8: Finish the keychain and years connections
Clue 16 tells us that tools with a Keychain were used for odd-numbered years. We have three keychain tools: Tool A (Keychain / Nameplate), Tool B (Rope / Keychain), and Tool E (Keychain). Their years are 9, 7, and 1 — all odd numbers. That matches perfectly.
Clue 17 says Daniel used his tool longer than Scott. Scott owns Tool E with 1 year, so Daniel must own a tool with more than 1 year. The only tool left with a single owner and a higher year is Tool B with 7 years. So Daniel owns Tool B.
Step 9: Resolve the remaining owners and years
Clue 18 says Mark cannot spy on Tom’s farm from his window. That tells us Mark and Tom own different tools. Mark owns Tool A (9 years, because the red tool is the longest-used one). Tom must then be the other owner of Tool C. Since Tool C already has Lydia as one owner, Tom joins as the second owner. That explains the “Tom / Lydia” slash in that cell.
Clue 19 says one of the oldest tools is next to the newest tool. The oldest tool is Tool A with 9 years, and the newest is Tool E with 1 year. They need to be next to each other. With Tool A, B, and C already in a block, Tool E must be on one end, and Tool D fills the remaining spot.
Step 10: Use the gloves and feeding clue
Clue 15 says the tool used for cattle feeding is beside the Gloves. Cattle feeding is Hays, which is Tool E’s usage. The Gloves belong to Tool D. Since Tool D is next to Tool E in the lineup, that clue is satisfied. This also confirms Tool D’s accessory is Gloves.
Step 11: Finalize the green tool and remaining accessory
Clue 14 says the green tool is not used together with Gloves. The green tool is Tool E, and its accessory is Keychain — not Gloves, so that works. Clue 20 says Mark does not share his tool with others. Mark owns Tool A alone, which matches.
Solution: Finish the remaining matches
By this point, all the major pieces are in place. Tool D ends up with 8 years and the Harvest usage, which was hinted at by Clue 8 (the Sickle is not used for lifting Hays or sweeping Leaves). The only usage left for Tool D is Harvest, and Clue 8 confirms it. Tool C gets 2 years — the only year left that fits with the odd-numbered keychain tools. Every cell in the grid is now filled, and the puzzle is solved.
Trickiest Clues In Profile Perfect Level 117
The “next to” chain for the Hoe, Rake, and Shovel
Clue 5 says the Hoe is next to a Rake and a Shovel. That sounds straightforward, but players sometimes think it means the Hoe has both tools on either side, which is correct. The tricky part is that you don’t know the order yet. The Hoe could be in the middle with the Rake on one side and the Shovel on the other, or the three could be in a different arrangement. The later clues about the blue tool being next to the rope and the black tool being next to the nameplate help seal the exact order.
The “only tool with Nameplate” clue
Clue 13 says the only tool with a Nameplate is next to the Black one. But Tool A has both a Keychain and a Nameplate in the same cell. Some players might wonder if that counts as “the only tool with a Nameplate.” The puzzle treats slash-separated values as all being present, so yes, it does. The clue simply means that no other tool has a Nameplate, and that tool sits next to the black Hoe.
The “half of Lydia’s money” clue
Clue 9 says the Digging tool was bought using half of Lydia’s money. The natural reading is that Lydia owns that tool. But when the solved grid shows both Tom and Lydia as owners for Tool C, it can feel contradictory. The clue doesn’t say Lydia is the sole owner — it just says she contributed half the money. That leaves room for Tom to be a co-owner, which is exactly what happens.
Final Thoughts
Profile Perfect Level 117 is all about building a clear chain from the locked answers outward. The red tool’s 9-year lifespan, Scott’s Pitchfork, and the Hoe’s placement create a path that resolves the accessories and owners step by step. The two shared owners and the slash-separated accessory cells add just enough twist to keep things interesting. Once you accept that a cell can hold more than one value, the rest of the puzzle falls into place naturally.
