Without reading the linked cells carefully, you might think the puzzle only has seven people total.

The 3 people between Jane and Green spring

Clue twenty one says 3 people are between Jane and the Green spring water. Jane is at Hot Spring E. Green is at Hot Spring B. Counting from B to E, you have positions B, C, D, E. The people between them are at C and D. C has two people (Maya and Sasha) and D has one person (Nicholas). That adds up to three people.
